The Lord is with Us

The Lord is With us…. Genesis 39: 21-23 But the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.23 The keeper of the prison looked not to anything that was under his hand; because the Lord was with him, and that which he did, the Lord made it to prosper. We often take for granted the times the Lord is with us. Recall the job you received which you were not qualified to do. Think over the blessings you received that you had nothing to do with. What about the times you were wrong, but

Waiting on the Lord.

Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. According to Merriam –Webster wait is defined as (1) to stay in a place until an expected event happens, until someone arrives, until it is your turn to do something, etc. (2): to not do something until something else happens and finally (3) to remain in a state in which you expect or hope that something will happen soon. Most people tend to think of waiting as sitting idly by doing nothing. It takes tenacity, grit and perseverance to wait on God. Sometimes I tend to think it is one of the hardest things to do…. I have noticed that this is how I break a lot of the handles on my pocketbooks. When we carry around person stuff we become responsible for it, that responsibili

Trust, Lean, Acknowledge

Daily Reflection: Proverbs 3: 5-7 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. Sometimes we think that we know it all. We think because we have had many experiences, that we have had all experiences. But we haven’t. It is a common fact that our actions and reactions are based off of our perceptions, our past and our experiences. Rarely do we consider the perspectives of others in situations. Even rarer do we consider that we may not have all the facts. The Bible tells us to trust in the Lord with all of our heart. That is
